The
Salem County
Sportsmen's Club is located on eastbound Route 40 in
Carney's Point, New Jersey. It is approximately three miles east
of the Delaware Memorial Bridge. The address is 273 Wiley Rd (Rt
40), Carney's Point, NJ 08069.
From Route 295:
. Take Route 295 to
Exit 2B
(Route 40/NJ Turnpike).
. Proceed east on Rt
140.
Go through the traffic light after passing over Route 295 and turn left
onto Route 40 East at the second traffic light (after passing over the
Turnpike).
. Drive east on Route
40 for
1 1/4 miles where you will see the club shield and a security gate on
the
right. Turn right into the entrance road.
From NJ Turnpike:
. Take the Turnpike
south
to Exit 1.
. Take the exit
immediately
following the tolls (on the right).
. Turn left onto Route
40
at the light.
. Drive east on Route
40 for
1 1/4 miles where you will see the club shield and a security gate on
the
right. Turn right into the entrance road.
From the East via
Route 40:
. Take Route 40 west.
. Proceed past Cowtown
Rodeo.
Rt 40 soon becomes four-lane divided highway, with a grass median in
the
center.
. Travel another 1.5
miles
passing the Friendly Tavern on the left. About a half mile after
that, you will see the club shield and a security gate on the left.
. Make a U-turn at the
next
opening in the median and travel back about 100 yards to the SCSC
entrance.
Turn right into the entrance road.
After passing the
security
gate:
. Follow the entrance
road
past Hudson Lake on the left and past the clubhouse on the left to the
pavilion.
. Please observe
the posted
15 MPH speed limit signs.
